Objective: To compare the commercial equipment with better performance versus equipment with more improvement opportunities of two Latin American companies: Dentaid Laboratories and SuperGiros. Method: Qualitative research method, under the dream team methodology, in which it was sought to compare data from two commercial teams of the Latin American companies Dentaid and SuperGiros, to find similarities and differences among them. The Cattell 16 PF personality test and the McClelland questionnaire were used as data collection tools. Results: The present research work shows that the type of commercial activity and the economic sectors of the companies go hand in hand with defined types or personality traits, for which similarity was found between the members of each company, as well differences between in their motivational profile. This is a case study, in which the DICS and CMT tests were used, in addition to a sociodemographic survey from which it was possible to identify that there are significant differences in the sociodemographic profile, personality traits and motivation between the two groups, as well as important similarities within each one, aspects that served as an input to the selection processes, career plans and retention of the personnel, that are part of the human management area of the Angelitos de luz foundation.Ítem Habilidades blandas de líderes de equipos de proyectos del sector construcción : factores diferenciales según metodología dream teams(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Peak Lemos, Suzanne; López Gallego, FranciscoFor this research the aim was to establish if there is a leadership style and soft skills self-perceived and perceived that are linked to the dream team managers of project teams of three companies in the construction sector of the Aburrá Valley. In order to achieve this purpose, a research with a qualitative descriptive dream team methodology through the multi-case study method was proposed. The tools used to obtain the information were the Blake and Mouton or Managerial Grid Leadership (1964) Styles Test, and the Managerial Skills Inventory (2013). The research question was: Is there a leadership style and self-perceived, and perceived soft skills linked to the dream team managers of three companies in the construction sector of the Aburrá Valley? Some of the results showed that the primary soft skills related to dream team leaders are communication, motivation, and staff development. The coherence between the leaders' self-perception and the collaborators' perception represents a link in itself. No differential factors were found based on the leadership styles used by the managers of both groups.Ítem Preferencias en los estilos de liderazgo e intervención en el conflicto y su influencia en la productividad del equipo comercial de una empresa financiera en la ciudad de Medellín(2019) Restrepo Cadavid, Carolina; Betancur Rojas, Eliana; López Gallego, FranciscoObjective: to identify the leadership styles and intervention in the conflict of the office managers of Bancoomeva regional Medellín, according to the situational model of Hersey & Blanchard (1973) and the conflict management model of Thomas & Kilmann (2002), with the purpose of comparing the styles of leaders with greater results in productivity with the styles of leaders with greater possibilities of development. Method: case study. The techniques for obtain-ing information are closed public dissemination surveys based on the model of Thomas & Kil-mann (2002). And for leadership styles the surveys of Hersey & Blanchard (1973) will be used. Research question: ¿What are the leadership styles and intervention in the conflict preferred by the leaders who have had greater results in productivity in comparison with the leaders who pre-sent greater possibilities of improvement in productivity? Results: Significant differences were found between the two groups studied. The Dream Team group with better results preferred the persuasive leadership style (S2) with support in the delegative (S4); To intervene in the conflict, this group used the competition style supported by the evidence. The group with opportunities for improvement to develop, preferred the style of participatory leadership (S3) without any support; To intervene in the conflict, this group identified with the commitment.
