Ítem Estudio de prefactibilidad para un café cultural dirigido a personas con discapacidades sensoriales en la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Villegas Vivares, María Alejandra; Vásquez Hernández, Manuela; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioThis paper develops a feasibility study for a cultural coffee shop for people with sensory disabilities with the aim of assessing the viability of this project. This study is conducted following the UNIDO methodology, which minimizes uncertainty and facilitates well-informed investment decisions by analyzing feasibility through the formulation of a series of supporting studies: environmental and sector analysis, market, technical, organizational and administrative, environmental impact, legal, financial, and risks assessment. Furthermore, this work incorporates descriptive research with a mixed approach: qualitative and quantitative. This initiative aims to provide visibility to a community that is present in our society but has been historically excluded, particularly in cultural contexts. This café seeks to offer a unique experience for all its visitors, ensuring that people with sensory disabilities can enjoy an inclusive environment tailored to their needs. Simultaneously, individuals without disabilities can share moments with their friends and family. Finally, there is significant market potential, as no similar business models have been identified in Medellín.
