Method: This study is based on observations none participating and interviews with the orientations hermeneutics, this is to allow how to identify how the people with disabilities perform in work environment of the organizations of the Medellín city. Results: once the inves-tigation is finished, it is expect to formalize the contributions and benefits of inclusion of people with disabilities in the work performance.

    Desarrollo de prototipo de prótesis ajustable multiusuario de miembro superior

    The World Health Organization estimates that around 1.3 billion people in the world live with disabilities, and in Colombia it is estimated that there are 1,298,738 people with disabilities, 18.5% of them affected in the upper limbs. Amputation in this area negatively impacts the patient's independence, functionality, and emotional state. To address this problem, a study was carried out based on a projective methodological cycle to design an adjustable and universal prosthesis for cases of amputation of the middle third of the forearm or the entire hand. During the research, a prosthesis prototype was created that was easy to fit and suitable for daily activities, with a comfortable and secure fit between the socket and the residual stump. However, the need to soften the coupling between the terminal device and the prosthesis was identified due to difficulties in its manipulation. Damage to the ratchet guide was observed and the need for adjustments to the suspension device was detected for users with greater muscle mass in the biceps. The simulations showed that the socket is safe, but the terminal device requires redesign due to evident structural flaws

    Diseño de una herramienta de diagnóstico de inclusión de niños con movilidad reducida de miembros inferiores en parques infantiles

    En Medellín, cerca de 2.500 niños entre 0 y 9 años de edad tienen algún tipo de discapacidad -- En los últimos años se han realizado acciones buscando crear normas que permitan la inclusión de la población con discapacidad en los diferentes contextos de la ciudad, sin embargo aunque se reconoce el derecho a la recreación y al acceso al espacio público, hace falta tener normas oficiales que regulen el diseño de parques infantiles inclusivos -- En esta investigación se analizaron las características de: El entorno: políticas, normas y demás factores de Medellín y Colombia que influyen en el diseño de parques infantiles -- El contexto: parques infantiles -- El usuario: niños con movilidad reducida de miembros inferiores -- La actividad: secuencia de acciones que se deben realizar para el uso de parques infantiles -- Los objetos: características que deberían tener los objetos en relación con las capacidades de los usuarios -- Al definir todos los factores que facilitan o dificultan el acceso a los parques y el desarrollo de las actividades dentro de este, se logró diseñar una herramienta de diagnóstico de la inclusión de niños con movilidad reducida en los parques infantiles, que permita a los profesionales involucrados en el diseño de áreas de recreación detectar los factores del diseño del parque que deben ser modificados para permitir la inclusión de los niños

    This paper assesses the feasibility of a handcraft bakery chain within high-traffic sports centers in "el valle de Aburrá" region, focused on the employment inclusion of individuals with physical disabilities. Combining financial and social analysis, the study uses quantitative and qualitative methods, including surveys of high-traffic sports centers frequent users, to gauge both market potential and perceptions of labor inclusion. This approach aims to establish a profitable, socially responsible business model that yields tangible and sustainable benefits.

    Impacto de la protección por estabilidad laboral reforzada en materia de salud a la terminación objetiva de relaciones laborales

    This research work studies the principle of reinforced labor stability in health matters, for which a jurisprudential, legal and doctrinal analysis will be made, through which it is intended to analyze the scope of this principle in terms of contracts for work or labor. For this purpose, the reader will initially find a study of the interpretative, jurisprudential and legal evolution in which some of the most representative sentences that highlight the most important information of the principle will be brought to collation and together with this, the direct implications of the current jurisprudence to the principle of reinforced labor stability in Colombia will be evidenced, in accordance with the specific contractual modalities of the labor relationship that concatenate with the object of study. In the following section, a specific analysis will be made from a specific type of employer, the temporary service companies, with the purpose of showing from one of the contractual parties how the impact of the figure is materialized, having clear that it is usual to study it from the "weak" contractual party, that is, the employee; but little is delved into the other side of the figure and the entity or subject that ultimately, is the one that ends up bearing the economic burden that brings with it the application of the figure. It will be important to analyze the temporary service companies in accordance with the figure, since this will not only allow the reader to have in mind the contracting modalities and particularities of the labor relationships in this type of companies, but also to show how, in a type of company designed in Colombia to cover temporary requirements according to Law 50 of 1990, its social purpose of providing "temporary" workers could be truncated and distorted, due to the specific application of the special protection. The case of a specific temporary services company will be taken as the object of study, where we will address different specific cases of reinforced labor stability currently present, seeking to resolve the prerogative of whether this type of labor contracting aimed at meeting specific requirements is affected by the principle of labor stability, in the sense of maintaining untouched labor relations whose contractual object is already fully executed, as a result of an alleged health condition that enables a special protection for the worker. As an objective of the specific intervention to the temporary services company, a legal concept will be issued in the sense of recommending the best course of action for the treatment and approach of the cases; concept that in turn will help the reader to draw a clear picture of the actuality of the figure and the impact of it, for both parties of the contractual relationship, according to real cases that allow adding to the research a field study. In the same sense, throughout the research work, the legal basis of the figure in Colombia and the jurisprudential development along with its essential characteristics will be reviewed, so that, once this has been exposed, the functioning of the application of the principle of reinforced stability in health and its particular characteristics will be analyzed. In this sense, some hypotheses are posed in response to some questions that we questioned throughout the development of this work, which are necessary for a comprehensive approach to the concepts and methodologies of treatment of the figure of reinforced stability in Colombia, aiming to provide the reader with conceptual and procedural foundations that allow applying what was studied in the research in the actual approach to the subject in our country. Finally, in the last section of this research, we will bring up some general conclusions to which we arrived at the culmination of this research, taking into account that these gather all the investigated and analyzed material, thus arriving at some general hypotheses that bring together the theoretical framework and the field work, giving as a whole, answer to the essential object of the research.

    The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) was conceived as a Human Rights instrument that seeks the social development of persons with disabilities, which reaffirms the fundamental rights and freedoms of this population. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) play a fundamental role in the conception of the CRPD, being the first time they actively participated in the formulation of a treaty for the protection of Human Rights. For this reason, it is important to determine the normative impact and influence that these organizations generate in the internal order of States under the influence of the CRPD.

    In order to summarize, the is to provide enough information for companies in Colombia to promote labor inclusion by providing job opportunities for handicapped people. This will bring positive aspects such as respect for fundamental rights, decent work, the minimum salary and equality. At the same time, labor inclusion will help to reduce unemployment rate and it will improve job stability for people with disabilities.

    This monographic work will address the main novelties of Law 1996 of 2019, which modifies the legal incapacity regime in Colombia and goes on to regulate it through a series of legal figures such as the presumption of capacity, supports, reasonable adjustments and advance directives. Initially, a section of conceptual developments will be established as a logical order to understand the different elements that have to do with the disability regime in Colombia. Then, the topic of the normative evolution that has arisen in the matter of disability will be approached; finally, the new features that the mentioned law brings, with its advantages and disadvantages, will be explained.
