    Adolescentes escolarizados y el uso del teléfono inteligente: relación de dependencia

    This research describes the dependence of the smartphone on a sample of adolescents of school age in Medellin -- The smartphone is a high-impact information and communication technology due to its functions and benefits; In these moments, increasingly important, in some cases, addictive behaviors such as attitudes of dependence, loss of self-control and harmful effects in their daily activities -- The Mobile Phone Dependence Test (Chóliz, 2011) was included in 81 adolescents between 12 and 17 years of age from the EAFIT University Language Center -- Dependency rates were not found in the sample, since it has not been used in daily activities, in relation to others, in economic expenses and in their emotional state due to the use of the smartphone -- However, it is considered that the adolescent population may be prone to the development of attention functions, so preventive strategies should be taken into account to avoid this risk

    The present study aimed to analyze the association between attachment styles, emotional dependency, and intolerance to loneliness in students enrolled at Universidad EAFIT during the academic period 2026-1. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The sample consisted of 32 university students selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. Data were collected using the CaMir questionnaire, the Emotional Dependency Questionnaire (CDE), and the SELSA scale. The results showed statistically significant associations among the studied variables, revealing that participants with anxious attachment presented higher levels of emotional dependency and intolerance to loneliness. Likewise, although secure attachment predominated within the sample, a significant presence of insecure attachment styles and moderate to high levels of intolerance to loneliness were also identified. It is concluded that attachment styles influence the way students establish emotional relationships and emotionally cope with loneliness, highlighting the importance of strengthening emotional well-being and psychological support strategies within the university context.
