In turn, performance is a predictor of the organization's productivity. This also happens in E-commerce companies. Taking into account that in Colombia this type of company generates a significant proportion of employment and it is expected that it will increase in the future. The objective of this research is to explore the competencies that best predict the quality of performance of the people who work in this type of organization. To find out about them, (eight) E-commerce experts with experience of 2 or more years in the HR area were interviewed. Through content analysis, emerging categories were built that allowed discovering the competencies that best predict the quality of performance of the people who work in these organizations in Colombia. At the end, it is discussed how these findings contribute to E-commerce organizations, organizational leaders, collaborators and human resources areas, as input for selection processes, and training.Ítem Design of pedagogic tools for teaching materials in product design engineering(The Design Society, 2015-01-01) Patiño Santa, L.F.The education in materials constitutes a vital part of the education of an engineer, since its comprehension determines the design and construction of products with appropriate materials that satisfy the current and future needs of the 21st century society [1]. In the Product Design Engineering degree, teaching and learning the attributes and applications of materials shouldn't be limited to lectures. This paper shows how through the design of pedagogic tools it is possible to go from a knowledge-transfer method to a student-centred method where motivation, teaching and learning strategies and problem-based learning, support meaningful learning [2] through the implementation of these tools in the classroom. © 2015, The Design Society. All rights reserved.Ítem Identificación de las competencias digitales necesarias en los colaboradores de una empresa industrial de la República Dominicana(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Sandoval, Sandra Milena; Román Calderón, Juan PabloÍtem Perfiles de cargos administrativos por competencias basados en el rombo filosófico de Renée Bédard : una propuesta para la Seccional Oriente de la Universidad de Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Giraldo Urrea, Diana Catalina; Rodríguez Hernández, Sandra Yaneth; López Gallego, Francisco DaríoThis text described the general aspects of the proposed work degree for the Master of Management (MBA) at the EAFIT University; in particular, the subject related to profiles of administrative positions in the Eastern Section of the University of Antioquia was exposed; it was intended to define these profiles by competences, in order to formalize the hiring of current staff that is not linked in the plant of positions of the institution. To be placed at present, the internal documents of the university were revised, which helped to identify the types of profiles that are already defined. Finally, the profiles were designed by appropriate competences for the administrative area in accordance with René Bédard's model of the philosophical rhomb, in its four dimensions: the ontological, the axiological, the epistemological and the praxeological; This model helped to fulfill the mission, vision and objectives established by the institution in said subregion of the department.
