    In the last three years the different media have shown the bad perception of the citizenship about the private companies that contract with the State, specifically as regards their sanctioning function in traffic contraventional matters -- Under this scenario, an investigative work was designed to find out if the implementation of CSR practices by these companies could improve their reputation -- For this purpose, between the months of October and November of 2017, the opinion of twelve experts who were subjected to in-depth interviews and the judgment of one hundred sanctioned citizens who were surveyed through closed-response guides, was considered -- The result was a negative image of these companies and the possibility that CSR practices played an important role in improving their reputation -- Based on the findings, a series of recommendations that could serve as an input for the design of strategies for improving the prestige of these organizations are formulated
