A strategic analysis is carried out to characterize both the internal and external context in which the company operates, where primary sources are consulted through interviews first with key personnel within the organization and then with external people with extensive knowledge and experience in the chemical product distribution sector. Secondary sources such as databases, specialized journals, state agencies and unions are also consulted. For the internal analysis, the SWOT matrix, Osterwalder's business model Canvas and the analysis of the company's value chain are used. Similarly for the analysis of the external context, Porter's five forces tools and PESTEL analysis are used. Finally, with the analysis of the results obtained, three competitive strategy alternatives are proposed that allow the company to take advantage of its strategic capabilities and offer a differentiated value to each customer segment it currently serves and thus position itself adequately to compete and continue to be profitable in the future.Ítem Estructuración y análisis de viabilidad financiera de un modelo de negocio para una fintech de créditos en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Astudillo Alvarado, Yasmín Andrea; Valencia Serna, Fanny; Restrepo Tobón, Diego AlexánderThis paper presents the structuring and analysis of the financial viability of a business model for a credit Fintech in Colombia, using the canvas and some financial models that will help the organization and initiation of this project, include regulatory aspects and maximize the resources. The model includes a mixed portfolio of consulting services around digital transformation and technological products that support transformation proposals that emerge from accompanying SMB companies in the BPO sector in Colombia. In the exposition of the problem an analysis of the BPO industry in the country is presented, where the opportunities and the needs fort this sector to become a first level industry in Colombia, oriented to the local and international market, are identified. Then the building blocks of the canvas (Osterwalder and Pigneur´s model) are analyzed. Next, a first formulation of the business model is made, which was validated through structured interviews with a group of people with extensive experience in the sector. The methodology of Osterwalder et al., in Designing the value proposition was used, which is based on enriching the business model canvas containing nine modules: market segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue sources, key resources, key activities, key partnerships and cost structure. It is concluded that considering the nature of the service presented in the business model of Enfocar Publicidad S.A.S., its success lies in two key factors: technological and advertising innovation at the time of developing the commercials in 2D and 3D, because it is useless to have a piece of furniture with the best construction quality, if it does not transmit attractive contents that are attractive to the customer, where they can learn about the benefits of acquiring certain brands of medicines or pharmaceutical products, enabling the positioning of a particular brand or set of them in the consumer's taste and, therefore, make it grow significantly.Ítem Modelo de negocio para la distribución del servicio de renting de vehículos en Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Robledo Perdomo, Esteban; Restrepo Díaz , David Alejandro; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz AmparoThe vehicle rental sector has grown considerably in Colombia as a comprehensive proposal that covers the needs of people, companies and society in the financial and environmental fields and in the field of mobility, among others. It is a global trend of consumption that consists of paying for the use of certain products and services regardless of the property on them, and it is on this characteristic that the potential for the development of rent is found in a country in which property over things have more relevance. In this sense, it is essential to create penetration strategies for the Colombian market, understand the characteristics of consumers, their attributes and expectations, and implement value proposals for their distribution that cover the needs for alternative mobilization to ownership of vehicles. This work presents the stages in which a business model was developed to implement a rental distribution channel in Medellín, which connects the demand and supply of vehicle leasing services and contributes to the development of the sector and the generation of value for people, companies and society.Ítem Plan estratégico para la empresa Lujos y Repuestos la 50(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Rodríguez Quintero, Camila; Gallo Marín, Rodrigo; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz Amparo; Giraldo Hernández, Gina MariaLujos y Repuestos La 50 is a family business with 24 years of experience in the auto parts market, located in the Bello municipality (Antioquia) and with a wide range of spare parts for light vehicles.
