Describe the effects of work reorganized by the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of work life perceived by a group of workers from a company in the oil sector in Colombia. Conceptual framework of references. The concept of the quality of work life was approached from the satisfaction, health and well-being of the worker, without neglecting what is related to their work environment, in the first approach to the reconciliation of aspects of work, which result from the dialectic generated between the experiences individual and organizational objectives. Method. Descriptive qualitative study based on the CVT GOHISALO questionnaire (González, Hidalgo, Salazar & Preciado, 2010) applied to 50 operators and leaders of the UOPII Cracking plant - Rent of one of the Ecopetrol Refineries, whose facilities are located in the city of Barrancabermeja, Colombia. Results. Aspects generated by current labor conditions to which workers from a company in the oil sector are exposed were analyzed; finding the employer's action plans very useful, benefiting the human resource and the business, under the conditions posed by the abnormal scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result of the aforementioned, affectation in economic issues and in excess of work at home carried out by workers remotely from homes was visible. Conclusions. They are proposed from the dimensions addressed to be adjusted by the company, mainly taking into account aspects that scored below the expected, such as the compensation perceived in the current scenario, implicit challenges in the telework modality and communication within the teams of work.Ítem Análisis de factibilidad para una empresa de diseño arquitectónico en la ciudad de Medellín(2018) Aguilar Jiménez, Ana María; Villegas Flórez, Juan Camilo; Uribe Ochoa, Beatriz AmparoThrough the UNIDO methodology for the preparation of industrial feasibility studies, it will be established whether if is feasible that the six partners of the design architectal company Bassico Arquitectos’ dedicate to their firm one hundred percent of the working time. Although there was a series of municipal changes that allowed us to think about the increase of older people, such as life expectancy and the decrease in birth rates, these transformations in the society had effects in the construction of some plans and strategies to serve this population in the last two decades. The purpose of this article is to analyze the strategies that emerged between 2001 and 2017 in relation to the elders and its articulation with the Municipal Development Plans. At the same time, it generates a discussion about the challenges, difficulties, needs and possible lines of action that arises at the work with older people in a mobile and dynamic context. This review shows that, according to the reviewed sources, the strategies have been essentially the same, and there have been very little plans proposing new interventions in accordance with the changes this population have had. In addition to this, most plans involve dealing with elders who have socio-economical difficulties, while people with other difficulties are left out. (Sogamoso's office) and Greenland S.A.S. experimented with remote work during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The dataset employed in this research was collected through an open and closed questions survey conducted on a representative sample of employees of both companies, which allowed the discovery of the most relevant changes these employees faced with remote work during COVID-19. The results showed a clear preference of employees for remote work and evidenced stability in company operations despite the disruptions due to the onset of COVID-19 and the lack of preparation in implementing this type of work. It is worth mentioning that the most esteemed convenience stated by the employees of both companies that worked remotely during COVID-19 was the possibility of sharing more time with their families while creating opportunities to socialize at work was considered the biggest challenge.Ítem El desarrollo sostenible ¿Una propuesta relevante?(Universidad EAFIT, 15/04/2002) Vázquez Sánchez, Edison; García Rendón, Jhon Jairo; Universidad de Antioquia; Universidad EAFITÍtem Diagnóstico de los factores que podrían contribuir a la sostenibilidad de los microemprendimientos del proyecto de generación de negocios de la ONG Socios en Salud en la provincia de Lima Metropolitana y el Callao(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Becerra Pando, Liliana Katherine; Vargas Saenz, Mario EnriqueThe NGO Partners in Health (Lima-Perú) supports patients with Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV (AIDS) or their families, through the Project: Business Generation, to start or fortify a microenterprise, in order to achieve better income, increase your self-esteem, maintain your treatments and contribute to your quality of life. Management plans are formulated focused more on the implementation of palliative and corrective measures, forgetting the efficiency of long-term, forward-looking exercises that properly address the territory. Seeking to respond to the transformation and loss of ecosystems, we must choose strategies that, together, result in qualified urban spaces as a response to the restructuring of green spaces. Several elements have an impact on the progressive deterioration of quality-of-life indexes and gradually degrade the socio-environmental conditions of spaces that become less and less inhabitable every day. This is when the absence of effective and disruptive interventions in the territory becomes evident, frequently resulting in phenomena associated with the deterioration of public health, the appearance of diseases usually linked to unhealthy lifestyles, the worsening of atmospheric conditions and the fast growth of settlements in an area with low support capacity. Besides, ground waterproofing, the emissions from mobile and industrial sources and the indiscriminate covering of natural water sources contribute to the generation of heat islands and the consequent negative effect on termic comfort. Based on a perceptive, experimental, deductive, contextual and normative analysis, this research project is developed based on a propositional diagnostic exercise with qualitative and quantitative aspects at the territorial level. This project identifies urban and environmental problems, with an emphasis on the significant lack of public spaces for recreation and human interactions at the municipal level, especially at the neighborhood scale. It is at this scale that the absence of green infrastructure becomes evident, one that actually contributes to ecosystem services and is properly articulated as the ecological backbone of the city, starting from the local level and reaching a more general scope. In this line, suitable tools are conceived for the construction of elements that favor good urban practices that are supported and welcomed by those who will make use of them. The evaluation of planning instruments resulted in an exercise that proposes the construction of a management model that makes it possible to develop a practical and effective tool for the transformation of streets currently devoted exclusively to vehicles into effective public spaces for recreation and encounters, with green infrastructure, soil recovery and tree cover that complement ecological connectivity. The goal is also to propose a replicable pilot for other cities with similar characteristics, contributing to the construction of the indicator of public space deficit and the adoption of effective green public space as the element of consolidation and assessment of the environmental and urban conditions of the territory.Ítem Evaluación de la sostenibilidad de las viviendas construidas por el proyecto “Mejoramiento de viviendas rurales en la comunidad campesina de Urinsaya Coyana, distrito de Langui, provincia de Canas, región Cusco”, ejecutado en el año 2014(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Hollemweguer Campos, Sandra; Torres Hidalgo, Carlos; Vargas Saénz, Mario EnriqueÍtem Factores determinantes en la retención de personal, para los conductores de una empresa del sector logístico de la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Pérez Muñoz, Laura; Londoño Duque, Marcela; Giraldo Henao, CatalinaThis research was proposed from a qualitative approach in order to identify the key factors in the personnel retention for drivers of a logistics company of the Medellín city. Additionally, the thesis highlights the permanence causes or withdraw intentions, the retention strategies, both monetary and non-monetary ones, and the conditions that facilitate or hinder retention of 10 workers interviewed. The research was carried out at different times: in the problem statement, in the research of different works associated with the subject, throught telephone interviews with 10 participants and in the consolidation and analysis of results. Finally, conclusions were generated based on the analysis of the results and the contrast with the theoretical framework, which may serve as input to the company to strengthen the retention strategies implemented for its workers. Among the conclusions, it is proposed that the company under study rethinks the scope of educational assistance, preserves and strengthen the days off granted for special dates and maintains the leadership model implemented within the company.Ítem Incidencia del programa de permanencia de la Universidad CES sobre la calidad de vida de los estudiantes becados(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Cardona Aristizábal, Daniela Alexa; Cardona Álvarez, Carolina; Echeverri Hernández, Santiago
