Publicación Análisis y cuantificación de la probabilidad de incumplimiento en una cartera de crédito de una cooperativa de ahorro y crédito en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Boutrous Restrepo, Jennifer Maria; Yepes Montoya, Elian; Támara Ayús, Armando LeninPublicación Diagnóstico de la situación actual de la Unidad Económica Popular, Asociación Textileras Manos Productivas del Cantón Esmeraldas, Provincia Esmeraldas-Ecuador(Universidad EAFIT, 2016) Beltrán Baque, Juan Pablo; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriqueEl presente trabajo de investigación se revisan las principales teorías que definen a las Empresas Sociales, así como las particularidades de éstas en el caso ecuatoriano regido por la aplicación de la Ley Orgánica de Economía Popular y Solidaria (LOEPS) -- Se repasan por tanto las características que describen a una empresa como Social, con la finalidad de identificar y analizar dichas características en la Unidad Económica Popular, Asociación Textileras Manos Productivas, permitiendo tener un diagnóstico profundo de la asociaron y su situación actual -- Para llevar a cabo la investigación se ha revisado a profundidad toda aquella información bibliográfica referente a la economía popular y solidaria, así como a la empresa social -- Se hace uso de datos estadísticos de los órganos gubernamentales implicados, que muestran cómo se encuentra éste sector y su contribución al crecimiento del país; asimismo se ha contado con un estudio previo realizado en la misma asociación, y con el valioso aporte de las mujeres que integran la asociación -- Esta investigación es de campo tipo documental, descriptiva y cualitativa, en la que con la aplicación de métodos y técnicas de recolección de información como entrevistas y encuestas se han datos no cuantitativos -- Todo ello ha contribuido a la elaboración de una matriz DAFO, con sus correspondientes matrices EFE y EFI, para el análisis de los factores internos y externos que inciden la asociación -- La información obtenida de la matriz DAFO, además permitió que con la aplicación del Diagrama de Ishikawa, se pueda determinar en profundidad las causas y los efectos de la situación actual de la Asociación Textileras Manos Productivas -- El trabajo finaliza con una serie de conclusiones, ligadas a recomendaciones que se consideran importantes para el aseguramiento de la permanencia en el tiempo de la asociación objeto de estudioPublicación Gestión Humana Socialmente Responsable en Cooperativas de Trabajo Asociado. The purpose of analyzing this experience is to verify how associativity and human capital in this business model have been beneficial both for the members of the cooperative, meaning partners and workers, as well as for the surrounding community in general. The objectives of the research focus on: knowing the life timeline of the cooperative and its most important historical milestones, knowing the organization's management model, knowing the impacts that the cooperative's activities have produced in the community , and know the challenges and challenges of the organization as a look to the future. For this case study, we base ourselves theoretically on the concepts of local economic development, human development, sustainable development, competitiveness, associativity, social capital, institutionality, governance, and quality of life. The analysis of this case is methodologically based on the collection of information and data found in the cooperative's documents, as well as on the information that is published in the organization's documents and virtual media. This information is crossed with the information obtained in the field work where interviews and visits have been made to the same community and cooperative. Due to these qualitative methodology techniques, we can know in depth the appraisals about the experience and it also allows us to validate the questions that we pose as research objectives. As a result of all this study, we can affirm that the results are encouraging and it is confirmed that the experience has really been and has allowed to improve the quality of life of the producers of the cooperative, which in turn has offered a beneficial impact in a way. indirect to the Tocache community. This entails challenges for the credit unions in interacting with their environment by facing events that may generate interruptions that affect the provision of their services, therefore the adoption of plans or programs for the business continuity management become effective solutions to deal with such events. Although the field study stand out that business continuity is managed by credit unions and that they are incorporating processes or activities to face events that may interrupt the provision of the service, just one of them is fully implemented in accordance with a formal management framework and the requirements of the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, which suggests that the level of maturity of the continuity plans has a direct relationship with the regulatory entity since the remaining entities that have partial implementations are supervised by the Superintendencia de Economía Solidaria. Therefore, the present study aims to propose a guide with elements that, in accordance with the general practices of credit unions and the theoretical frameworks for business continuity management to facilitate the implementation and management of plans and develop organizational capacities to face interruption events and guarantee the provision of services.
