Employee loyalty is one of the most important reasons to maximize Quality of Work Life (QWL). The present study explores the definition of QWL, empirically explores the most important concepts that determine a good QWL, for employees in the financial sector in Colombia, together with the importance of compensation among the other factors that make up QWL. With this information, a employee loyalty scheme is proposed. The results suggest that the most important dimensions both to maximize Quality of Life at Work and to increase employee loyalty are Work Environment, Job Satisfaction and Job Security, Compensation and Rewards, and Organizational Culture and Climate.
