Ítem Proceso de ASC - CONEXION ENTRE ESTACION DE TIERRA Y UAVS PARA USOS AGRONOMICOS Y/O SOCIALES(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Isaza Álvarez, Juan Camilo; Cortez Reinoso, Cristian Alexis; Gonzales, Juan Pablo; Martinod, Thomas; Escobar Patiño, Alma; Salcedo, Jefferson Daniel; Cardona, Juan David; Marulanda Bernal, José Ignacio; Universidad EAFITWith this project, the use of the long-range ground station (500 km), located at the EAFIT Llanogrande headquarters, for agronomic and social applications was proposed. This station is in the start-up phase with the 2019 Applied Electromagnetism Seedbed (SEMA) project underway. Taking advantage of the payload capacity of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the transmission range capacity of the base, activities in the agricultural sector can be carried out such as irrigation, fumigation and crop sensing among other applications, in addition to its possible use in humanitarian aid by having greater access through UAVs to places that cannot be easily accessed to transport objects and aid. Additionally, the proposal could very well be included as a topic of study in the recent undergraduate degree in agronomic engineering created at the University.Ítem Proceso de ASC - TRANSMISION DE DATOS DESDE UN GLOBO CAUTIVO A UNA ESTACION DE TIERRA(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Marulanda Bernal, José Ignacio; Quintero, Olga Lucía; Isaza Álvarez, Juan Camilo; Cortez Reinoso, Cristian Alexis; Gonzales, Juan Pablo; Martinod, Thomas; Escobar Patiño, Alma; Salcedo, Jefferson Daniel; Cardona, Juan David; Universidad EAFITWith this project, the use of the long-range ground station (500 km), located at the EAFIT Llanogrande headquarters, was proposed to receive and process the information sent from a captive balloon that has a sensor system for different variables, which It will be located at different points of the University's Llanogrande headquarters, taking advantage of its large area. Both the operation of the ground station and the captive balloon with its sensor system are in the completion stage within the framework of previous projects in recent years of the Applied Electromagnetism Hotbed (SEMA). Taking advantage of the reception range capacity of the ground station, the aim is to integrate both projects to explore technologies for transmitting and receiving information from earth observation systems.
