Cronistas de Tiempos Salvajes is a transmedia project that seeks to contribute to the historical memory of the Colombian armed conflict and the war on drugs through a book that collects the testimonies of 25 journalists who covered both phenomena during the 80s, 90s and 2000s. Written by Juan Gonzalo Betancur, journalist, coordinator of the journalism line of the academic program in Social Communication at Eafit and professor in the area of Creation.
Starting from this seminal work, the project will develop lines of expansion in multiple formats and platforms that expand the narrative universe. In this way, users will be able to access stories, testimonies, reflections, objects and journalistic tools that allow them to learn about the recent history of the country and how journalism played a fundamental role in it.
The project includes three lines of creation and reflection in which the user will have different levels of interaction and participation: the digital component, the academic component and the exhibition component.

Cronistas de Tiempos Salvajes es un proyecto transmedia que busca aportar a la memoria histórica del conflicto armado colombiano y la guerra contra las drogas a partir de un libro que recoge los testimonios de 25 periodistas que cubrieron ambos fenómenos durante los años 80, 90 y 2000. Escrito por Juan Gonzalo Betancur, periodista, coordinador de la línea de periodismo del Pregrado en Comunicación Social de Eafit y profesor del área de Creación.
A partir de esta obra seminal el proyecto desarrollará unas líneas de expansión en múltiples formatos y plataformas que amplíen el universo narrativo. De esta forma los usuarios podrán acceder a historias, testimonios, reflexiones, objetos y herramientas periodísticas que le permitan aprender sobre la historia reciente del país y cómo el periodismo jugó un papel fundamental en ella.
El proyecto comprende tres líneas de creación y reflexión en las cuales el usuario tendrá distintos niveles de interacción y participación: el componente digital, el componente académico y el componente expositivo.
