Resumen

The aim of this project is to explore the wave propagation properties in a phase transforming cellular material suitable for energy dissipation applications -- We pretend to understand how to control the dispersion behavior and switch the propagation properties when the phase transition is triggered -- In the long-term, the main objective is to achieve a device with tunable band gaps and wave guide properties -- The first part of this document presents the theoretical background of wave propagation in periodic materials -- The second part is dedicated to the Bloch analysis of the phase transforming cellular material
