The research was conducted under a quantitative approach, with an exploratory scope and was developed in two phases: physical measurements and acoustic measurements of both arcs. Differences were found in the physical characteristics for the two arcs, while in the acoustic measurements no significant differences were found. So that the difference that can make a distinction between one arch and the other, is from the interaction and knowledge of the instrument, because from there a musician builds a large part of his sonority.Ítem Acercamiento al lenguaje musical y pianístico de Isabel Gómez a través de su obra Días grises y otros azules(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Hurtado Martínez, Manuela; Lennis Cortés, Laura IsabelDías grises y otros azules is a piano work written in 2018 by the composer and pianist Isabel Gómez Álvarez. In this work, Isabel utilizes her piano and compositional skill in creating five-concert etudes, which portray the use of rhythmic techniques and characteristic musical elements of 20th-century music. This article aims to understand how the composer communicates through these pieces, inspiration sources, and, to suggest then, study tools that facilitate their interpretation. The article suggests as a hypothesis: The proposal of Pedro Gomez Valderrama historical tale, historical discourse and literary discourse is interwoven through the intertext, an intertext that is a mark of the first discourse, immersed and subverted in the second, by their common denominator, the narrative act. The interest in researching this topic arises from the scarce promotion of Wayûû indigenous music outside the department of La Guajira. For this reason, it is intended to elaborate an adaptation of the Wayûû indigenous music for brass instruments. In the same way, to adapt aspects such as history, customs, sources of inspiration and musical instruments, in order to enrich the repertoire for the same instruments from the recognition of the cultural diversity of Colombia and the encouragement of the promotion of the cultural and musical richness of this community.Ítem Adaptación y creación de música colombiana de Bambuco, Pasillo y Joropo para el aprendizaje y formación del Trombón(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) González Castrillón, Jhon Wilson; Alunno, MarcoThis article propose a way of teaching trombone based on both Colombian culture through folkloric rhythms such as bambuco, pasillo and joropo, and the more traditional American, French and German schools where examples and arguments are given to support this musical and instrumental pedagogy. Haceb Company seeks to reduce overexertion accidents through a behavioral intervention aimed at promoting adherence to stretching in the Technical Service Business Unit (UBN), where high rates of overexertion accidents have been recorded. To this end, a pre-experimental design was conducted with self-report measures before and after the intervention. The intervention was developed based on the methodological framework of the behavior change wheel and the EAST framework. Reminder messages, group warm-ups, instructional videos, and family messages were employed. The intervention showed a positive impact, with a statistically significant increase in knowledge about stretching and a higher frequency of stretching exercises. There will be a brief survey about the evolution of the piano in order to understand the cause for the appearance of the figure of the piano tuner. The involvement that musicians have in the process of musical creation and recreation will be shown alongside the role that tuning has in the process. Hereafter the interdisciplinarity as a resource to develop new knowledge will take place, followed by the benefits that piano tuning skills will bring to the construction of an interpretation approach and finally some pianists’ perceptions on this subject will be shared. Therewith, it is proposed to highlight piano tuning with the purpose of taking it into account as part of the development of academic piano programs of the higher education institutions in the country.Ítem El aire no es el mismo, si no es en la tierra de uno : un análisis desde las voces, relatos y narraciones de los habitantes de la serranía de San Lucas (El Bagre,Antioquia)(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Tobón Parra, Jorge William; Arango Restrepo, María RocíoThe objective of this article is to analyze the construction of the narrative identity of the multicultural communities that inhabit the Serranía de San Lucas, El Bagre Antioquia. The research has a theoretical foundation from the concept of cultural hybridization and multiculturalism of Nestor García Canclini; for the concept of narrative identity, the postulates of Paul Ricoeur were reviewed. It is intended from the narratives of the communities, to verify how identity is built through the story; because through the narratives, the subject organizes his ideas taking into account the vision of himself and others, expressing stories, naming characters, settings, actions and plots related to the social context. The San Lucas Mountain range is a portion of territory where the inhabitants weave their stories, their culture that will not be possible without history, without myths and without actors. This article aims to show a community and a territory of people of diverse ethnic and cultural origins, with unique visions of the forest they inhabit as a space for their cosmogonies, stories, and traditions. People of the forest, of whom little is known about their identities, and understand by this not their names, not their certificates, not their debts, but rather their places of enunciation, their speeches, their stories, their history, their desires, their possible modes of existence.Ítem Alabaos y Chigualos-gualíes del Chocó traídos al escenario recitalístico del cantante lírico(Universidad EAFIT, 2015) Valencia Cáizamo, Nelly; Yépes Londoño, Gustavo AdoldoEste artículo es uno de los productos de un trabajo investigativo que emprendimos con el objeto de dar a conocer un poco de la tradición cultural ancestral chocoana, representada en este caso por diez ejemplos de alabaos y chigualos-gualíes, que tendrá como anexos: a) un CD con los diez ejemplos seleccionados, cantados por los cantaores y cantaoras de la región, por la autora de este trabajo y, en forma responsorial, por solistas y coro con interludios pianísticos; b) transcripciones de las líneas melódicas con aproximación escritural rítmica de la forma como se ejecutan los seis alabaos escogidos, y especialmente, una comparación melódica y textual de tres diferentes versiones de uno de los alabaos más importantes del ritual, el “Hermanito Devoto del Santo Rosario”, junto con una transcripción ritmo-melódica de cuatro chigualos-gualíes; y c) un díptico compositivo sobre dos alabaos, encomendado al compositor Jhonnier Ochoa para la recreación libre y en manera artística erudita, a partir de los originales folclóricos escogidos -- Dentro del corpus de este artículo, presentaremos una somera contextualización etnomusicológica-geográfica de los cantos de alabaos y chigualos–gualíes, donde cantaores y cantaoras serán las fuentes primarias, escogidas de tres regiones del departamento, que son Sanjuán (Andagoya), Atrato (Quibdó) y Pacífico (Nuquí) y, secundarias, escritos varios autorizados sobre el mismo asunto -- Se incluirá también el análisis del díptico compositivo antes referido, ciclo cuya ejecución interpretativa será incluido en el recital de grado de la autora de este trabajo
