Estudio de prefactibilidad para la implementación de una Planta de Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales –PTAR– en la vereda tablacito del municipio de Rionegro, Antioquia

Gómez Salazar, Elkin Arcesio2025-09-092025https://hdl.handle.net/10784/36574Este trabajo evalúa la prefactibilidad para la construcción de una Planta de Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales (PTAR) con tecnología de biodiscos en la vereda Tablacito, municipio de Rionegro, Antioquia. Se desarrolló un análisis integral que abarcó aspectos sectoriales, técnicos, legales, ambientales, administrativos, financieros y de riesgo, bajo la metodología ONUDI. El estudio identificó que, aunque la iniciativa no resulta viable desde un enfoque financiero estricto, presenta un alto valor social y ambiental, al contribuir al saneamiento rural, la conservación de fuentes hídricas y el cumplimiento de metas de desarrollo sostenible. La evaluación consideró las particularidades del entorno local y la naturaleza no comercial del proyecto, concluyendo que su pertinencia se justifica por los beneficios colectivos que genera, más allá del retorno monetario.This study assesses the pre-feasibility of constructing a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) based on a rotating biodisc system in the rural district of Tablacito, located in the municipality of Rionegro, Antioquia. A comprehensive analysis was conducted, encompassing sectoral, technical, legal, environmental, administrative, financial, and risk-related aspects, using the UNIDO methodology. The findings indicate that, although the initiative is not feasible from a strict financial standpoint, it represents a significant social and environmental value, since it contributes to rural sanitation, the protection of water sources, and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
