And to be a legitimate exercise, by virtue of the principle of necessity, also constitutionally based, the application of the sanction must be strictly necessary for the educational and corrective purpose of the minor or pupil, and it will not be so when a sanction of certain harshness without first testing the effectiveness of warnings or lighter sanctions.El ejercicio del derecho de corrección al menor, para ser ejercicio “legítimo” y por tanto causa de justificación completa, ha de ser, en cualquiera de los castigos impuestos, adecuado, proporcionado a la entidad de la infracción y comedido, un “corregir moderadamente”.
