The implementation of this tool in the urban areas is to set records that support the forensics, hence improving law enforcement also on developing countries. An analysis of its effectiveness is presented in comparison with theoretical results obtained with numerical simulations. © 2014 SPIE.enghttps://v2.sherpa.ac.uk/id/publication/issn/0277-786XGunshot identification system by integration of open source consumer electronicsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/conferencePaperClassification (of information)Consumer electronicsCorrelation methodsDeveloping countriesNational securitySecurity systemsSensorsDspImpulsive soundsOpen sourcesSound sensorsUrban areasOpen systems2021-04-12López R., J.M.Marulanda B., J.I.10.1117/12.2050778
