Esta tecnología ha presentado aplicabilidad en diversos ámbitos de la industria, entre ellos el de la medicina. En lo que respecta a Colombia, el internet de las cosas orientado al campo de la salud es un mercado recientemente explorado, y son pocos los emprendimientos alrededor del tema, lo que representa una oportunidad relevante para emprender en el país. Teniendo en cuenta que existen las condiciones tecnológicas y técnicas necesarias para el desarrollo de un producto basado en el internet de las cosas y orientado al monitoreo de la salud, se realizó un estudio de factibilidad que permitió analizar la viabilidad de la ejecución del proyecto propuesto.The development of the internet has allowed the emergence of the Internet of Things, where common objects have been able to connect to the network and be part of an ecosystem generator of data and information. This technology has let applicability in various areas of industry, among them in medicine. Regarding to Colombia, the Internet of Things oriented to the field of health is a recently explored market, and there are few ventures around the subject, which represents an important opportunity for starting a new business in the country.
