El objetivo es comprender en profundidad esta terapia y sus efectos en los niños con TEA. Se utilizará un enfoque cualitativo para recopilar datos a través de técnicas como las entrevistas semi estructuradas. La población de interés incluirá niños con TEA, profesionales y cuidadores primarios en la zona antioqueña. Se utilizará un muestreo no probabilístico para seleccionar la muestra. Los resultados de la investigación proporcionaran información relevante sobre los beneficios y los factores que influyen en la terapia asistida con mascotas en esta población.The thesis focuses in investigating animal – assisted therapy in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The objective is to gain a deep understanding of this therapy and its effects on children with ASD. A qualitative approach will be used to collect data through techniques such as semi – estructured interviews. The population of interest will include children with ASD, professionals, and primary caregivers in the Antioquia región. Nonprobabilistic sampling will be employed to select the simple.
