El texto examinará la importancia del derecho registral y notarial en garantizar la autenticidad y confiabilidad del ordenamiento jurídico. Las limitaciones y vulnerabilidades asociadas a la intervención humana en estos procesos. Con base en lo anterior, se estudiará el potencial de la tecnología blockchain como ayuda o herramienta para asegurar la fe pública y preservar la autenticidad de los registros públicos, considerando su estado actual de implementación a nivel mundial. Además, se examina específicamente la aplicación de blockchain en el notariado y el registro en Colombia. Finalmente, se presentan las conclusiones, resumiendo los principales hallazgos y discutiendo los resultados, junto con las implicaciones y recomendaciones para futuras investigaciones.This paper aims to analyze Blockchain technology and its role as a tool for the solution of the most common problems that afflict the legal system and its users in the registry and notary field. The text will examine the importance of registry and notarial law in guaranteeing the authenticity and reliability of the legal system. The limitations and vulnerabilities associated with human intervention in these processes. Based on the above, the potential of blockchain technology as an aid or tool to ensure public faith and preserve the authenticity of public records will be studied, considering its current state of implementation worldwide. In addition, the application of blockchain in the notary and registry in Colombia is specifically examined.
