Este hecho subraya la importancia de comprender las causas del fracaso empresarial, entre las cuales se destacan la falta de conocimiento del emprendedor sobre los productos ya existentes en el mercado, la ausencia de un análisis exhaustivo de los gustos y necesidades del público objetivo, así como la carencia de una proyección financiera a mediano y largo plazo (Redacción Emprendimiento y Liderazgo, 2023). En este contexto, el presente estudio de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la prefactibilidad de establecer un spa de bienestar en El Poblado, Medellín. Para lograrlo, se llevaron a cabo estudios en áreas clave como el mercado, el marco jurídico, la estructura administrativa y organizativa, las finanzas, los aspectos técnicos y el entorno empresarial. Estos estudios, regidos por los lineamientos establecidos en la fase de preinversión según el manual de la ONUDI, arrojaron como resultado la necesidad de reestructurar el proyecto a partir de la información obtenida en los análisis de mercado y financiero, de manera que sea pertinente llevarlo a una fase de factibilidad.Statistics reveal that 66.5% of new companies in Colombia close their doors in the first five years of their incorporation (Confecámaras, 2023). In this context, the present research study aims to determine the prefeasibility of establishing a wellness spa in El Poblado, Medellín. To achieve this, studies were carried out in key areas such as the market, the legal framework, the administrative and organizational structure, finances, technical aspects and the business environment.
