| dc.description | The rapid economic growth, industrial development and high level of competitiveness have made Asia Pacific one of the most dynamic and, therefore, promising regions of the new century. In parallel, Mexico has been characterized as a country with an important economic muscle and with good projections; nevertheless, the changes derived from the transfer of power from one party to another at the end of the year 2000, caused a change in its international actions. In this sense, the interest of this article is to analyze the reorientation of Mexican economic and commercial policy in Asia Pacific, through the implementation of economic diplomacy between 2000 and 2012 and the most relevant aspects that resulted from the implementation of economic diplomacy , as trade agreements, memorandum of understanding, among others. | eng |
| dc.description | El rápido crecimiento económico, desarrollo industrial y alto nivel de competitividad han hecho de Asia Pacífico una de las regiones más dinámicas y, por ende, prometedoras del nuevo siglo. Paralelamente, México, se ha caracterizado por ser un país con un músculo económico importante y con buenas proyecciones; sin embargo, los cambios derivados del traspaso de poder de un partido a otro a finales del año 2000, provocaron un cambio en su accionar internacional. En este sentido, el interés de este artículo es analizar la reorientación de la política económica y comercial mexicana en Asia Pacífico, mediante la implementación de la diplomacia económica entre el 2000 y 2012 y los aspectos más relevantes que resultaron de la implementación de la diplomacia económica, como acuerdos comerciales, memorándum de entendimiento, entre otros. | spa |
