Colombia is one of the countries in the Latin-American context where most significant effects have rendered the process of Constitutional Law internationalization. Due to the new doctrines of public law, Colombian law has demonstrated gradual but important influences in overall case law, private law, citizenship imaginary on rights and its protection, as well as in jurist mentality that has been actually educated under a completely different paradigm with respect to the dominant one under the aegis of previous Constitution, enacted in 1886. © 2012.eng
