El saxofón en tres obras de Blas Emilio Atehortúa : descripción analítica, recursos técnicos y sugerencias para la interpretación

Resumen
This article presents the analytical description and compositional technical resources of three works by Blas Emilio Atehortúa in which the saxophone was included: Duet Concertante for saxophone and piano Op. 151-1, Chamber music for five instruments Op. 13 and Piece brief for winds and percussion. In addition, it proposes some suggestions to take into account in future interpretations, which emerged during the study and assembly of the same. Once the manuscripts were recovered, an interview was carried out with the composer to confront the data captured in the analysis and to learn first-hand about the compositional technical resources. The main objectives of the text are two: first, to disseminate the composer's work, since a large percentage of his creations appear in manuscripts and have not been interpreted since its premiere, and second, to promote the creation and interpretation of academic repertoire for saxophone, highlighting the characteristics of Latin American music.

El presente artículo expone la descripción analítica y los recursos técnicos compositivos de tres obras de Blas Emilio Atehortúa en las que se incluyó el saxofón: Dúo Concertante para saxofón y piano Op. 151-1, Música de cámara para cinco instrumentos Op. 13 y Pieza breve para vientos y Percusión. Además, propone unas sugerencias a tener en cuenta en futuras interpretaciones, que surgieron durante el estudio y montaje de las mismas. Una vez recuperados los manuscritos, se realizó una entrevista al compositor para confrontar los datos captados en el análisis y conocer de primera mano los recursos técnicos compositivos. Los principales objetivos del texto son dos: primero, divulgar la obra del compositor, ya que un gran porcentaje de sus creaciones figuran en manuscritos y no han sido interpretadas desde su estreno y segundo, promover la creación e interpretación de repertorio académico para saxofón, resaltando las características de la música latinoamericana.
