Abstract

In this second book by researcher Juan Sebastián Ochoa Escobar, the interaction between traditional and popular Colombian music that gave rise to the consolidation of the musical work of different groups and individuals is correctly analyzed. This text examines the role of the cultural industry in the configuration of specific sounds in the coastal and paisas regional contexts.

En este segundo libro del investigador Juan Sebastián Ochoa Escobar, se analiza acertadamente la interacción entre las músicas tradicionales y populares colombianas que dieron origen a la consolidación del quehacer musical de diferentes grupos e individuos. Este texto examina el papel de la industria cultural en la configuración de unas sonoridades específicas en los contextos regionales costeños y paisas.
