El cambio constante, la evolución de las economías y el uso creciente de las tecnologías hacen visible la necesidad de conocer el valor actual y constante de las inversiones. Los capitalistas buscan dar el mejor uso a sus recursos, con el fin de maximizar las utilidades e incrementar su riqueza. Este estudio propone dar a conocer a los accionistas del grupo KASAL S.A.S. el valor comercial que hoy tiene la Estación de Servicio “El Palmar”, utilizando como método de valoración el flujo de caja libre descontado a partir del análisis de la información financiera histórica, permitiendo proyectar los estados financieros en un marco de tiempo de cinco años. Comprender la valoración y crecimiento de la inversión en la sociedad a través de los años permitirá a los accionistas obtener herramientas financieras adicionales para tomar la decisión corporativa de colocarla o no en venta, decisión que será tomada durante el primer semestre del año 2019.
Abstract
The constant change, the evolution of economies and the growing use of technologies make visible the need to know the current and constant value of investments. Capitalists seek to make the best use of their resources, in order to maximize the utilities and increase their wealth. This study looks for inform the shareholders of the KASAL S.A.S. the commercial value that the "El Palmar" Service Station has today, using as a valuation method the discounted free cash flow from the analysis of the historical financial information, allowing to project the financial statements in a time frame of five years. Understanding the valuation and growth of investment in the company over the years, will allow shareholders to obtain additional financial tools to make the corporate decision to offer it or not for sale, a decision that will be made during the first semester of 2019.
