“La forma de las ruinas”: paralelismos discursivos entre la novela y el poema sinfónico

The next article describes the compositional process of the symphonic poem "La forma de las ruinas" of my own authorship -- It is based on the namesake novel of the colombian writer Juan Gabriel Vásquez -- From this novel my work takes the general structure (A-B-AB) and it is developed taking internal and external references to the book -- The musical speech is built on the characters, situations, and moments of the novel, but also on another implicit literary works like other novels, tales, and theater plays -- These works constitute a network of references that required the identification of intertextualities -- Additionally, I counted with the contrasting view of the novel's author

El siguiente artículo tiene como fin describir el proceso compositivo del Poema Sinfónico “La forma de las ruinas” de mi autoría, basado en la novela homónima del escritor colombiano Juan Gabriel Vásquez -- De esta novela toma la estructura general (A-B-AB) y se desarrolla a partir de referencias internas y externas al libro -- El discurso musical se construyó no sólo desde los personajes, situaciones y tiempos, sino también desde otros textos (novelas, cuentos y obras de teatro), implícitos en el discurso, y que forman una red de referencias, por lo que requirió de mi parte la identificación de intertextualidades -- Además se contó con el contraste de mi interpretación con la visión del escritor de la novela
