Imaginemos por un momento que pudiéramos viajar a la Francia medieval y observar la construcción de la Catedral de Notre-Dame de París. Allí, no veríamos solamente piedra, madera, andamios, herramientas y obreros en movimiento. Veríamos también una forma particular de organizar el conocimiento. Detrás de una obra como esa estuvieron figuras capaces de reunir saberes y decisiones que hoy solemos encontrar separadas: los master builders
Let’s imagine for a moment that we could travel back to medieval France and observe the construction of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. There, we wouldn’t just see stone, wood, scaffolding, tools, and workers at work. We would also see a particular way of organizing knowledge. Behind a project like that were figures capable of bringing together knowledge and decisions that we today tend to view as separate: the master builders
