    Given the conditions of the country and the region, the sector of amusement parks in Colombia has a great potential for development and expansion. Based on this fact, the viability of the market for an amusement park under a thematic focus that is to be developed in western Antioquia will be evaluated, and which, due to its technical and infrastructure characteristics, is designed to match the recognized parks at world level. It is crucial to the development of this project to understand the environment and the potential market that, due to its size and scope, will have a national span; for this reason, it is important to have a macro view of the country in its different dimensions. Once analyzed the sector and identified the market in reference to demand, price, preference, competition and marketing channels, it is expected to have the bases to give viability to further studies such as the financial and the technical ones, and, finally, along with the rest of the analysis, present the feasibility result to the project.
