    Análisis de la viabilidad para implementar una unidad de negocio de servicios arquitectónicos online para la empresa Tres Cimas S.A.S.

    The goal of the present research is to establish the viability in the implementation of a new business unit in charge of the architectural services that the company TRES CIMAS S.A.S. offers online -- The analysis of specialized readings will be followed, formulate the business unit of online architectural services, then the investment budget and cash flow will be analyzed (exclusive information about this new unit of a company), and finally, an action plan will be generated based on findings of feasibility for the unit -- As a result of this analysis, the company has a NPV of COP $150.741, with an IRR of 1.3% and positive financial ratios -- Hence, we conclude that the business idea is profitable and we have to keep working on developing the opportunities and strengths that were identified for the company

    Entrepreneurship is established as a strategy to boost the growth and development of countries, especially those with economies of transition -- Entrepreneurship is put on stage as an element of social intervention to achieve sustainable development and changes in power relations -- In particular Colombia has made a commitment to entrepreneurship as a driving force for economic and social development, however, there are great challenges to achieve the consolidation of entrepreneurs -- The main cause of the failure of the ventures is the Financial Management of the different business units, in this context, the present study analyzes the basic decisions of investment, financing and operation in the department of Cauca, in order to identify success factors or business failure and lead to better practices that allow the growth and sustainability of the business units and contribution to the economic empowerment of the region

    This research proposal is exposed as a solution to the problem of excess inventories suffered by international traders throughout a specific period of the year between June and August, the financial viability of starting a dehydrated cape gooseberry processor -- The research will expose the background of the product, its context in the Colombian and European market, as well as the impact it has on the different stakeholders directly and indirectly linked to the national horticultural sector -- Through a thorough investigation, we will get to know the countries with the highest consumption of dehydrated cape gooseberry, with the purpose of segmenting the market, knowing the niche where the product can be exported, analyzing the entire export process regarding INCOTERMS, packaging process, costs and freights, transportation and negotiation, among others, to minimize risks, costs and other inconveniences that arise in the negotiation of dehydrated cape gooseberry -- Likewise, technical, administrative, legal, environmental and financial analyzes will be carried out, taking into account costs, supplies, working capital, statement of the financial situation, income statement and free cash flow that allows knowing the IRR, NPV, EBITDA, EBITDA Margin, ROE and ROA of the new business unit

    Lineamientos generales para la construcción de un Centro de Servicios Compartido para el grupo empresarial de la industria automotriz colombiana

    The Shared Services Centers (SSC) has the companies’ interest -- Nowadays they are looking for solutions that allow them to optimize his business models and obtain higher savings in their costs -- This study wants to find general guidelines in the development process of a SSC for a Colombian business group company of the automotive industry which will be called “Development Systems Company” (DSC) -- Initially, we will share the components of a SSC and what is required for its implementation -- Later we will analyze what kind of administrative and technical elements will be needed in the SSC implementation -- This will have a theoretical framework that supports SSC, analyzing the evolution of them and establishing benefits and disadvantages in a real company -- At the end we will made an evaluation of the processes in order to define which of them will belong or not to the SSC of the “real company”

    Sinergias corporativas en el Grupo Familia: estudio de mejora en los niveles de seguridad de la organización

    The purpose of this paper is to present an example of synergies capitalization for the transfer of skills in Grupo Familia, a multilatin and multibusiness company that has a structure that fulfills the functions of a Corporate Head Quarters in which senior management maintains an interest in multiplying value through the realization of synergies with the joint management of business units (BUs) -- Despite the fact that synergies are one of the great purposes of multinational companies, there are few studies around the processes that make them possible, that is why this case study will identify how the synergies materialized in the seven production sites and other related areas of the Grupo Familia in LATAM, to achieve an improvement in safety and health outcomes in work between the years 2013 to 2017 -- Complementary to the study of synergies in the Grupo Familia, it will also be explained in a simple way, the reasons why to establish the safety and health as a corporate priority, facilitates the achievement of organizational objectives measured through the traditional indicators such as the growth in sales, profits improvements and generating value for stakeholders -- The applied methodology was the case study (Yin, 1995)

    This written work, to present the projection scenarios of a new business an canvas model, an independent operating surgical theater; model funded by a company startup medical aesthetic, that it works today in the city of Cali and is specialized in plastic surgery -- Will be used the discounted cash flow method for get the results of the project evaluation; it will be accompanied by a cyclical analysis of the sector and a comparison with companies referring to the competition -- Is classified available information and a financial assessment of the income and costs for services for five years to achieve the goals of the growth, Profitability and expected operational risk minimization; with the support of investors with real guarantees, which leverage financial indebtedness until it is carried out -- Finally, some scenarios will be built from a risk matrix and with the more variables relevant, the conclusions about the better strategic choices in the face of risks
