This text described the general aspects of the proposed work degree for the Master of Management (MBA) at the EAFIT University; in particular, the subject related to profiles of administrative positions in the Eastern Section of the University of Antioquia was exposed; it was intended to define these profiles by competences, in order to formalize the hiring of current staff that is not linked in the plant of positions of the institution. To be placed at present, the internal documents of the university were revised, which helped to identify the types of profiles that are already defined. Finally, the profiles were designed by appropriate competences for the administrative area in accordance with René Bédard's model of the philosophical rhomb, in its four dimensions: the ontological, the axiological, the epistemological and the praxeological; This model helped to fulfill the mission, vision and objectives established by the institution in said subregion of the department.
