This co working project is very new to the market, and the city does not have much offer regarding this type of business. As a methodological tool, it will rely on UNIDO, which is supported by the eight studies it contains: sectoral, market, technical, administrative, environmental, legal, financial and risk. Within the studies, the analysis of data provided by the territorial entities will be carried out, and as primary information a survey will be carried out to 97 people in the municipality of Pereira, including professionals, freelancers, entrepreneurs interested in a co working space. In this way, it is concluded that the project is viable from the development of all its studies and helps to solve the problem posed.Ítem Evaluación de alternativas de modelado y visualización para la construcción(Universidad EAFIT, 2015) Isaza Pulido, Jorge Alonso; Botero Botero, Luis FernandoDurante décadas las prácticas de CAD [computer-aided design: diseño asistido por compu-tador] han estado presentes en los proyectos de AEC/FM [architecture, engineering, construction and facilities management: arquitectura, ingeniería, construcción y administración de inmuebles]; sin embargo, los últimos años las prácticas de BIM [building information modeling: modelado de información en construcción] están seduciendo a los profesionales en Colombia y en el mundo, por sus grandes ventajas, como la capacidad de procesar de manera integrada la información geo-métrica y no geométrica de los proyectos -- Para muchas empresas y profesionales colombianos el BIM es un nuevo software que permite la representación de modelos en tres dimensiones; sin embargo desconocen el alcance actual de esta nueva metodología para la gestión de proyectos de AEC/FM, que permite aprovechar el co-nocimiento y la experiencia de los profesionales que participan, mejorar la dirección y control de procesos tradicionalmente críticos, relacionados con la constructabilidad, el tiempo, los costos, la operación, la sostenibilidad, la seguridad, etc., y pensar en el mediano y largo plazo en el uso de tecnologías innovadoras, como la realidad virtual, la realidad aumentada, la identificación de ob-jetos, el escaneo en 3D, la construcción automatizada, la fabricación asistida por computador, la impresión en 3D y los robots constructores -- Considerando lo anterior, Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Nemetschek Group, Trimble y otros des-tacados fabricantes de software ofrecen decenas de alternativas; sin embargo, la falta de investiga-ción lleva a las empresas y profesionales de AEC/FM a dudar y a esperar en la implementación del BIM, por sus costos y especialmente porque desconocen las mejores alternativas de modelado y visualización para la construcción, que les permita pasar de las prácticas tradicionales a las prac-ticas del BIM de manera exitosa -- Al respecto, la presente investigación permite conocer el panorama completo del BIM, que incluye la descripción y el análisis de los múltiples modelos y conceptos, los aspectos técnicos, legales y comerciales de la tecnología informática, la opinión de los profesionales colombianos, la ejecución de ejercicios prácticos, las estrategias empresariales y los acuerdos comerciales de los fabricantes -- Así, considerando lo anterior, se recomiendan las mejores alternativas de modelado y visualización para la construcción, que las empresas y profesionales colombianos de AEC/FM deben tener en cuenta si deciden su implementaciónÍtem Factores habilitadores y/u obstaculizadores del trabajo colaborativo en el área de auditoría de una entidad financiera con sedes en Medellín y Panamá(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Ruiz Restrepo, Gladys Stella; Moncayo Quevedo, Jorge EduardoThis research aimed to identify the facilitating and obstructing factors of collaborative work in the audit area of a financial institution headquartered in Medellín and Panama. In order to do so, a qualitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out. The research was designed through a case study based on semi-structured interviews to ten professionals of audit with experience in the performance of collaborative work in Medellín and Panama headquarters. The data obtained from this research indicated that collaboration is not just a series of steps to follow, mandatory and of power, but a way of being; it has to do with the culture that encompasses particularly values, principles and behaviors that altogether promote the collaboration spirit. It was concluded that during the construction of the collaborative work, technology has limitations of speed, capacity and accesses. When collaborative culture is driven from the highest hierarchical level the combined tasks, whether complementary or supplementary, are thought with greater integrity allowing the coordination between collaborative teams.Ítem Handling Heterogeneity in Collaborative Networked Surgical Simulators(Universidad EAFIT, 2016) Díaz León, Christian Andrés; Trefftz Gómez, HelmuthStand-alone and networked surgical virtual reality based simulators have been proposed as means to train surgical skills with or without a supervisor nearby the student or trainee -- However, surgical skills teaching in medicine schools and hospitals is changing, requiring the development of new tools to focus on: (i) importance of mentors role, (ii) teamwork skills and (iii) remote training support -- For these reasons, a surgical simulator should not only allow the training involving a student and an instructor that are located remotely, but also the collaborative training of users adopting different medical roles during the training sesión -- Collaborative Networked Virtual Surgical Simulators (CNVSS) allow collaborative training of surgical procedures where remotely located users with different surgical roles can take part in the training session -- To provide successful training involving good collaborative performance, CNVSS should handle heterogeneity factors such as users’ machine capabilities and network conditions, among others -- Several systems for collaborative training of surgical procedures have been developed as research projects -- To the best of our knowledge none has focused on handling heterogeneity in CNVSS -- Handling heterogeneity in this type of collaborative sessions is important because not all remotely located users have homogeneous internet connections, nor the same interaction devices and displays, nor the same computational resources, among other factors -- Additionally, if heterogeneity is not handled properly, it will have an adverse impact on the performance of each user during the collaborative sesión -- In this document, the development of a context-aware architecture for collaborative networked virtual surgical simulators, in order to handle the heterogeneity involved in the collaboration session, is proposed -- To achieve this, the following main contributions are accomplished in this thesis: (i) Which and how infrastructure heterogeneity factors affect the collaboration of two users performing a virtual surgical procedure were determined and analyzed through a set of experiments involving users collaborating, (ii) a context-aware software architecture for a CNVSS was proposed and implemented -- The architecture handles heterogeneity factors affecting collaboration, applying various adaptation mechanisms and finally, (iii) A mechanism for handling heterogeneity factors involved in a CNVSS is described, implemented and validated in a set of testing scenariosÍtem Relación de las prácticas de liderazgo transformacional con el trabajo colaborativo y las relaciones interpersonales en empleados de una universidad privada(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) López Pazmiño, Mauricio; Calle Madrid, Carlos AlfonsoObjective. Determine how the practices of transformational leadership, collaborative work and interpersonal relationships in administrative and academic employees of a private university in Bogotá are characterized and related to each other. Framework of conceptual references. Transformational leadership is addressed in terms of its effect on work teams, as well as the practices that facilitate collaborative work and group dynamics involved in the interpersonal relationships of organizations. Method. For this research, the main source of information was the results of a quantitative descriptive survey applied to all the academic units of the university, with which it was intended to establish the perception they have about the work climate (Páez, Uesseler, Arias , & Méndez, 2017). Three factors were extracted from this instrument: leadership practices, collaborative work and interpersonal relationships, as well as its subcategories. Regarding time, it is a cross-sectional study where sampling was by voluntary participation. There were 2619 men and women over 18 years of age corresponding to 87% of the total population, with teaching and administrative positions. Results The results reveal present leadership practices valued very favorably, as well as important evidences of collaborative work and the presence of positive interpersonal relationships. Significant correlations were also found between the leadership practices and the evaluated team performance measures. The leadership practices in this case are significantly associated with the variables of collaborative work (r = .676, p <0.01), and interpersonal relationships (r = .715, p <0.01). The results also reveal significant high correlations between collaborative work and interpersonal relationships (r = .835, p <0.01). Conclusions The findings allow us to conclude that transformational leadership practices are present in the institution in the leaders of the organization that are valued positively. Likewise, in the work teams are clearly established dynamics that favor collaborative work and interpersonal relationships. With respect to the research question, a moderate correlation was found between leadership practices and their impact on collaborative work and interpersonal relationships. Likewise, a high correlation was found between collaborative work and interpersonal relationships.Ítem VILL - Interlibrary Loan Validator sistema de validación de préstamo interbibliotecario(Universidad EAFIT, Medellín, Colombia, 2016-10-04) Quiroz Gil, Nora; Blandón Alvarez, Walter
