    The thesis focuses in investigating animal – assisted therapy in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The objective is to gain a deep understanding of this therapy and its effects on children with ASD. A qualitative approach will be used to collect data through techniques such as semi – estructured interviews. The population of interest will include children with ASD, professionals, and primary caregivers in the Antioquia región. Nonprobabilistic sampling will be employed to select the simple. The research flindings will provide relevant information about the benefits and factors that influnce animal – assited therapy in this population.
