Publicación Estrategias para reducir la rotación de personal en la industria textil de Medellín : el caso de estudio de Creaciones Carsil SAS(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Cabrera Mosquera, Luis Carlos; Betancur Hurtado, Carlos MarioThis study analyzes the strategies implemented to reduce employee turnover in the garment industry in Medellín, with a particular focus on Creaciones Carsil SAS. Through a case study, the main causes of employee turnover are identified, and the tactics employed by the company to improve employee retention are evaluated. The results indicate that the implementation of training programs, improvements in working conditions, and the strengthening of organizational culture have been effective in reducing turnover. Therefore, the data collection techniques used were: qualitative interviews and questionnaires. The theories that founded it, are related to the management of human talent in organizations and transformational leadership, from where the characteristics of being, work and knowledge of the human talent manager are revealed, who must promote and / or enable the development and potentialization of people's talents. In this way, they will be able to create favorable environments so that organizations are in continuous improvement of their processes and therefore, projected, sustainable over time and in the sector where it operates, and articulated with the strategic direction of the organization, highlighting Bass and Avolio ( 2006), Velázquez (2006), Ulrich and Dulebohn (2015), Calderón, Naranjo and Álvarez (2006), among others.
