    Statistics reveal that 66.5% of new companies in Colombia close their doors in the first five years of their incorporation (Confecámaras, 2023). This fact underlines the importance of understanding the causes of business failure, among which the entrepreneur's lack of knowledge about the products already existing on the market, the absence of an exhaustive analysis of the tastes and needs of the target audience, as well as the lack of a medium and long-term financial projection (Redacción Emprendimiento y Liderazgo, 2023). In this context, the present research study aims to determine the prefeasibility of establishing a wellness spa in El Poblado, Medellín. To achieve this, studies were carried out in key areas such as the market, the legal framework, the administrative and organizational structure, finances, technical aspects and the business environment. These studies, governed by the guidelines established in the pre-investment phase according to the UNIDO manual, resulted in the need to restructure the project based on the information obtained in the market and financial analysis, so that it is pertinent to carry it out a feasibility phase.
