    The pre-feasibility study for the implementation of solar energy in industry and commerce in Colombia contains aspects related to legal regulations, tax incentives, environmental studies, market research and economic study and the respective comprehensive analysis for its development, reflecting on the advantages and disadvantages of its implementation. The focus will be developed in companies that can self-generate their energy consumption through photovoltaic systems with the use of roofs and / or lots of their property. It is a futuristic, innovative and little explored project in the country. Basically, renewable energies (REE) open innovation, technology and efficiency paths, contributing to the sustainability of the planet. We hope that this work will serve as a motivator so that little by little many industries, hospitals, schools, universities, hotels and commerce in general will adhere to this type of solution. In addition, we seek to awaken the interest of the banking and governmental sector to support these initiatives. These projects are of high impact for the communities and society in general, the theoretical analyses serve as support for the companies that access this degree project to notice and project themselves to be implemented within their organizations.
