    The purpose of this paper is to do a revision of the challenges that a social manager faces about social inequality in Medellin, from what was formulated in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and its role as an agent of change in the design and implementation of public policies for sustainable development and social networks foundation -- The programs and policies emphasized are those that have proven to be successful for overcoming extreme poverty and for reducing social inequality in a national, state and local level
