    Factores que determinan la decisión de compra de servicios de vigilancia y seguridad privada en un grupo de clientes del sector en la región del Tolima

    Objective. Analyze the determining factors in the decision to purchase private security and surveillance services in a group of clients in the sector in the Tolima region. Method. We have carried out a qualitative approach, with a cross-sectional descriptive approach, in our case study, we analyzed the information obtained from the four interviews and one hundred surveys applied to different managers, executives or process leaders of the companies that use the services of surveillance and private security in the department of Tolima. The information gathering technique used was the semi-structured interview and surveys, where we considered the different categories of analysis defined within our conceptual framework. Finally. As a result, in the development of our research, we were able to identify each of the factors involved and their level of influence within the stages of the service purchase decision process. The information collected allowed us to analyze the main characteristics, attributes and benefits that are weighed during the stage of evaluation of purchase alternatives, as well as the positions of the people in charge and the main methods that mediate in the selection phase. The elements that generate satisfaction and dissatisfaction and the positive consequences in the post-purchase process of the private security and surveillance service were identified.

    The present document proposes a methodology for the integral and responsible commercial proposals of Private Surveillance and Security services in Colombia, in which all the possible aspects in the development of it were considered, from the commercial approach to its final presentation, identifying, through a visit to the customer facilities, the potential opportunities and risks, both for the client and the Private Surveillance and Security Company (PSSC). Also, project´s procedures, protocols and scope, inter alia, which will be taken into account in developing the service, and the necessary participation of the provider’s areas for the proper costs identification, which allows to ensure a high-quality and cost-effective service, with the expected return.
