Ítem Limits of quotients of bivariate real analytic functions(ELSEVIER, 2013-03) Molina, Sergio; Cadavid Moreno, Carlos Alberto; Vélez Caicedo, Juan Diego; Universidad EAFIT. Escuela de Ciencias y Humanidades. Grupo de Investigación Análisis Funcional y Aplicaciones; Carlos Cadavid M.(ccadavid@eafit.edu.co); Análisis Funcional y AplicacionesNecessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of limits of the form lim(x,y)→(a,b) f (x, y)/g(x, y) are given, under the hypothesis that f and g are real analytic functions near the point (a, b), and g has an isolated zero at (a, b) -- The given criterion uses a constructive version of Hensel’s Lemma which could be implemented in a computer algebra system in the case where f and g are polynomials with rational coefficients, or more generally, with coefficients in a real finite extension of the rationals -- A high level description of an algorithm for determining the existence of the limit as well as its computation is providedÍtem Percepción de la influencia del consumo de series y películas en el desarrollo del autoconcepto durante la adolescencia en un grupo de hijos únicos(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Mejía Ayala, Lizeth Viviana; Vásquez Ochoa, Andrés MiguelThe general objective of this research is to analyze the perception of the influence of the consumption of series and movies on the development of self-concept during adolescence in a group of only children. It was carried out under a qualitative approach with descriptive scope, by means of semi-structured interviews with 10 only children. The results showed that the participants perceive an influence of part of the contents of series and movies, as these broaden their knowledge of perspectives that contribute to the formation of the social, physical and personal dimensions of their self-concept. It is important to continue researching on this population and on the influence of audiovisual contents, so strengthening an interdisciplinary work with reception theories may be fundamental to analyze the influence of the works on the observers.Ítem Relaxed loading conditions for higher order homogenisation approaches(WILEY-VCH Verlag, 2011-12-09) Jänicke, Ralf; Uribe, David; Ruíz, Óscar E.; Steeb, Holger; Universidad EAFIT. Departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica; Laboratorio CAD/CAM/CAEThe present paper deals with the formulation of minimal loading conditions for the application of numerical homogenisation techniques, namely the FE methodology -- Based on the set of volume averaging rules connecting the heterogeneous micro and the homogeneous macro scale, the minimal constraints on the deformation of a micro volume are derived for a classical Cauchy as well as for a micromorphic overall continuum theory -- For both cases, numerical studies are included highlighting the main aspects of the proposed procedure
