    Propuesta de indicadores financieros para el negocio SaaS de PwC Colombia

    SaaS (software as a service) is a method of delivering applications over the Internet through subscription, in which service providers manage the applications that guarantee maintenance, software updates and information security. SaaS business has the function of generating recurring income, which is why it must be evaluated with indicators and financial rates different from the traditional ones. Through the analysis conducted, the need to identify these variables, how to measure them and what the financial strategy should be to implement the agreement with the results obtained was evidenced. This is how a diagnosis of the real situation and its effectiveness as an analysis tool was made. In addition, the responsible areas of PwC were consulted about the financial treatment that has been established for this line of business and based on this presented a proposal of the financial metrics that should be used as a tool for analysis and decision making that allows generating a strategy according to the business.
