To identify the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of centennial students regarding their erotic-affective relationships. Method. A qualitative analysis approach is used, opting for a phenomenological study. The subjects investigated are centennial male and female students, aged 18 to 25, who have grown up with digital media. Results. The results reveal key categories in each area: knowledge includes types of relationships and sources of information such as family, friends, and social media; attitudes encompass perceptions about timing in relationships and opinions about marriage; while practices include experiences of temporary relationships, polyamorous relationships, among others, prioritizing communication. Additionally, the importance of self-awareness and establishing boundaries before committing to a relationship was highlighted across the board. Conclusion. It is concluded that knowledge is highly influenced by social media. Regarding attitudes, it is noteworthy that there is a future-oriented focus on marriage. In terms of practices, communication in relationships is emphasized as crucial. Finally, a dynamic qualitative framework is proposed that represents the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and practices.Ítem Conocimientos, oportunidades, motivadores y prácticas sexuales asociadas a la PrEP en la comunidad universitaria(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Buitrago Zuluaga, Edwin Esney; Lemos Hoyos, Mariantonia; Ossa Giraldo, Ana ClaudiaPre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a pharmacological intervention based on the use of antiretroviral drugs aimed at reducing the probability of acquiring human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in HIV-negative individuals who are at substantial risk (WHO, 2017). This intervention is part of the Combination Prevention strategy that seeks to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS worldwide. During 2021 in Colombia, 12919 new cases of HIV were diagnosed (CAC, 2023). Despite this, only 598 people received PrEP during the same year, a significantly low number compared to other countries. Therefore, it is pertinent to investigate whether the university community knows about PrEP, what might motivate them to use it, what opportunities they would find in it, and what sexual practices would make its implementation necessary for some people. Objective: To identify the knowledge, opportunities, motivators and sexual practices associated with PrEP in the university community. Method: Quantitative descriptive cross-sectional research. Results: The university community knew little about PrEP; opportunities and motivators were associated with protection, care and social norms. Risk perception and vulnerability were identified due to some risky sexual practices against which PrEP could be presented as a care option. Conclusion: It is important to disseminate more information about PrEP in the university community. It would be useful to introduce this topic in existing sexual health promotion and prevention programs. Likewise, it should be intervened through information and access to goods and services such as counseling, STI testing and condoms, in addition to promoting actions to reduce stigma and discrimination related to PrEP and HIV infection.Ítem Efectos del tipo de educación sexual en los trastornos de la sexualidad en las mujeres adultas-jóvenes de Medellín (Colombia)(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Lopera Mesa, Susana; Cuartas Arias, Jorge Mauricio; Gañán Moreno, AndersonÍtem Efectos percibidos del tradajo sexual en las vivencias de la sexualidad en mujeres que crean contenido para la plataforma OnlyFans(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Robledo González, Sara; Zuluaga Aristizábal, Marda UcarisÍtem Estudio de caso de experiencias vividas en relación al método de enseñanza de la educación sexual en estudiantes y profesores de un colegio de Belén-Nariño(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Arcos Bolaños, Nathalia Valentina; Echeverri Álvarez, JonathanObjective: To evaluate the lived experiences of some adolescents and teachers in relation to the teaching method of sexual education in a school in Belén-Nariño. Methodology: research with a qualitative approach from a descriptive perspective, with a case analysis type study design, for which 11 semi-structural interviews were conducted with 8 students of which 5 were men and 3 women, 2 professors, and the rector of the institution. Once the information obtained was collected, a systematization process was carried out to develop a subsequent reflective analysis. Results: The experiences perceived by students and teachers are mostly negative towards the methodology of sexual education, also towards the external entities that intervene. Conclusions: The importance of carrying out a more in-depth study for a new design of the methodology and an investigation on the relationship between students and external entities that intervene in sexual education is highlighted, for which they refuse to access them. Likewise, it is also important to educate parents to impart sexual education in a more integrated way between the institution, the external agents involved, the homes and the students.Ítem Experiencias de malestar en vivencias de sexo casual en un grupo de jóvenes de 18-25 años de la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Ortiz Cortés, Carolina; Orejuela Gómez, Jonny JavierÍtem Experiencias relacionadas con la sexualidad e identidad de género de estudiantes LGTB+ de una universidad privada de la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Rojas Vargas, Federico; Villamizar Reyes, Milena MargaritaÍtem Las nuevas formas de expresión de la sexualidad : significaciones sobre el sentimiento de culpabilidad y goce en cuanto a la práctica del sexting en universitarios del Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Saldarriaga Londoño, Carolina; Orejuela Gómez, Johnny JavierÍtem Sentidos subjetivos construidos alrededor de la relación sexual en un grupo de mujeres que ha experimentado la mastectomía del Valle de Aburrá(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Villada Amaya, Santiago; Carmona, Juan GabrielÍtem Transformaciones en la identidad que se derivan del tránsito por el personaje de las drag queens del Parque Lleras y Provenza - Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Botero Calderón, María; Loaiza Muñoz, Susana; Zuluaga Aristizábal, Marda UcarisNowadays it is possible to approach the phenomenon of gender identity beyond the binary barriers that society had imposed as something absolute. Visible proof of this is the emergence of Drag Queens as a representation of rebellion against the heteronormative rules that dictated what was socially accepted as feminine or masculine qualities adjacent to the sex of birth. In theory, Drag Queens represent a transgression to gender and can be socially seen as agents of change, but the present study delves deeper into these perceptions coming from the same Drag Queens who perform or gather in El Parque Lleras and Provenza in Medellín. It analyzes their subjectivity and, more specifically, how they perceive their own global and gender identity both outside and inside the character, trying to determine whether they themselves perpetuate both in their spech and in their actions the heteronormative categories that still predominate in society.
