Ítem El control de pérdidas en materiales de agregados y mezclas en obras de infraestructura(Universidad EAFIT, 2017) Agudelo Galeano, Sebastián; González Mazo, José Daniel; N/AIn Colombia, the vast network of road infrastructure is old and inadequate, resulting in low average speed, higher vehicle maintenance cost, and excessive fuel cost which together have become a major hindrance to the national economic development of Colombia -- More than a decade ago, the national governments develop a national plan to improve the quality of roads in Colombia, thereby reducing the economic and social cost associated with poorly developed road infrastructure. Within the plan, construction resource management practices as defined in project contracts including subcontracting, aggregate resource - material, mixture and fuel - use & management were identified -- In this paper, these risk management issues associated with the resource management are addressed, and the current regulations that governs these issues will be reviewed -- Using economic and accounting concept of cost, project management practices will be examined to identity potential and real wastage of construction resources -- In addition, utilizing concepts of risk management, new controls and methodologies will be discussed and proposed to minimize the loss & wastage of construction resourcesÍtem Estudio de factibilidad de proyecto de creación de empresa de reciclaje de llantas de gran tamaño(Universidad EAFIT, 2017) Aristizábal Vargas, Nicolás; Ángel Palacio, Pablo; Pedraza, AndrésThis project carries out a feasibility study for a company start-up dedicated to the recycling of large tires in Medellin, in order to obtain Recycled Rubber Grain (GCR) and supply companies in the construction sector that use this material as an input in their production process -- The project will be carried out with an initial horizon of 10 years, the processing plant will be located in the municipality of Caldas, Antioquia, due to its closeness to Medellin and its strategic location -- The methodology followed by this study was based on secondary information on similar studies performed (bibliographic review of studies regarding the use of tires used in the country and abroad) and data from institutions linked to the country's environmental and economic sector (Ministry of Environment, Housing, and Territorial Development, DANE, Mayor's Office of Bogotá) -- To estimate the demand, prices and returns, it was decided to investigate the local market, and information was extracted on the amount of tires that are discarded annually in Medellin -- The authorized capital of the company will be $ 1,317,270,690 -- The subscribed capital will be 39% of the authorized capital, that is, $ 862,270,690 -- The capital paid will finally be the subscribed capital divided in equal parts for the three partners, that is, $ 285,408,650, this payment will be made by the time of the company´s constitution, whose corporate figure will be the Simplified Shares Corporation -- Finally, the company's financial statements are prepared with the aim of determining the feasibility and viability of the project
