The effective definition of risk appetite, tolerance, and capacity is essential for the continuity of organizations involved in road infrastructure projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in Antioquia. These projects face unique challenges, including financial, quality, and reputational risks. Therefore, it is crucial for these organizations to clearly determine their risk appetite, tolerance, and capacity. This research aims to identify the methodologies currently implemented for quantifying risk appetite in the road infrastructure construction sector in Antioquia and to establish additional methodologies that may be adapted to this context. To achieve this, qualitative research techniques were employed, including consultations and interviews with senior executives in the sector, to gain a comprehensive understanding of current practices and specific needs in risk management. The goal is to guide organizations dedicated to road infrastructure construction in Antioquia in making strategic decisions and improving their management of risks inherent to concession contracts under the PPP scheme.
