Ítem Guía metodológica integrada de sistema de administración de riesgos para fintechs con enfoque en financiamiento alternativo que no se encuentren vigiladas por la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia SFC(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Díaz Durango, Isabel Cristina; Villanueva Herrera, Eduart HumbertoThe purpose of this document is to provide an integrated guide to risk management systems for fintechs with a focus on alternative financing, based on the risk management systems detailed in the Basic Accounting and Financial Circular (External Circular 100 of 1995) and its respective annexes, defined by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC), for entities not supervised. The methodology used was a qualitative research, in order to identify findings through interviews that would allow interpreting how the risk control mechanisms of fintechs are, with a focus on alternative financing in Colombia, which are not supervised by the SFC. Equally, interviews with the Colombia Fintech association were also conducted, as an ally of fintechs on issues of risk control, regulations, operation, control and technology, among others. The results obtained from this investigation made it possible to identify that fintechs with a focus on alternative financing not supervised by the SFC, although they have little knowledge of risk models, they have established procedures and control committees that allow them to self-regulate their own operation a little. Likewise, it was identified how Colombia Fintech provides partners with initiatives to implement good practices in digital development processes, and not in the linking of a risk management system, since, in addition to the risk management system proposed by the SFC, it is important to maintain regulatory symmetry and follow up on the regulations published by other government control entities, such as the Superintendence of Companies, in order to have complete risk control schemes and not to present gaps due to omission of information against any of the regulatory schemes issued by them.
