Ítem El Acuerdo de Basilea: Estado del Arte del SARC en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2005-04-15) Torres Avendaño, GabrielThe first version of the Basel Capital Accord was signed in 1988 by representatives of Group G-10. Since then, this accord has been widely implemented around the world. There has been various amendments including market risk and, lately, in Basel II, the operative risk. In Colombia, since 2002, it is mandatory for risk management in Financial Institutions.Ítem Fuzzy electre model for the characterisation of aeronautical operational risks in the approach and landing phase(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Leal Cabra, Estefanía del Pilar; Peña, Juan AlejandroOne of the significant challenges facing the aviation sector is the management of risks arising from its flight operations, especially in the approach and landing phases, where pilot experience and training are of great importance and where the most significant incidents for air safety occur. Therefore, this paper proposes a model inspired by the structure of a Fuzzy ELECTRE model for managing the operational risks that arise in the approach and landing phases that can lead to safety events. Thanks to the analysis of the literature collected, the management criteria and risk parameters to be taken into account for these two flight phases were shown following air safety manuals such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) manual, and where the data obtained was obtained qualitatively thanks to the implementation of surveys with expert pilots, whose information served as the primary input for the characterisation of risks. Following the structure of the proposed model, five (5) reference risk scenarios management were constructed using the previous information, and an analysis of the dominance and discrepancy of a risk scenario vs. the previously established reference scenarios was carried out. Finally, it can be concluded that the proposed model allowed the quantitative-qualitative characterisation for managing the most relevant risks in the approach and landing phases, integrating the expertise of experts in this area.Ítem Implementación piloto de un Sistema de Administración de Riesgos Operativos SARO, en el proceso financiero de una comercializadora internacional de oro(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Burbano Daza, Diana Lizeth; Duque Cano, Dairon Rodrigo; Rojas Ormaza, Brayan RicardoMining has been one of the economic activities most exposed to risks within the economy of a country, due to the great complexity of the development of its processes; this is why international gold trading companies are directly linked to certain risks of this economic activity. With the foregoing, the need arises to identify and quantify the existing operational risks, and through controls, analysis and monitoring, minimize the impacts that directly affect the reason for being of the organization. In this work, emphasis will be placed on the operational risks of the company's financial process, based on the guidelines of ISO 31000, taking into account that there is no specific risk regulation for the company's sector, and in this way propose an Operational Risk Management System, which enables the identified risks to be managed.Ítem Percepciones acerca del riesgo operativo, a partir de identificar actitudes, costumbres y hábitos que obstaculizan o favorecen la aceptación de planes de acción de mitigación de incidentes en una organización productiva de la ciudad de Bogotá(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Rojas Oviedo, Sandra Paola; Silva Plata, Yuly Andrea; Henao Galeano, Carlos MarioObjective: to identify attitudes, customs and habits that favors the acceptance of plans to mitigate incidents in a productive organization in the city of Bogotá. Method: the present investigation is of qualitative character, of descriptive type, with a method of study of case, based on semi-structured interviews to employees of a company of the productive sector. Results: the results obtained allowed to identify in the workers habits, customs and repetitive attitudes. Some of these, proved to favor the acceptance or compliance to the letter of the security initiatives proposed by the company and another large amount showed the reasons why despite the fact that workers have a positive attitude and generally alert to the risk, accidents continue to occur. The activities highlighted by the workers are those related to self-care, when they refer to the use of personal protection elements, to the revisions they make of their environment, when making reports of unsafe conditions to their superiors, likewise when they comply with the traffic regulations and the safety standards established by the company, also when they mention that they attend the training provided by the company.Ítem Riesgo crediticio de las empresas colombianas listadas en el índice de Dow Jones Sustainability(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Reyes Barrientos, Simón; Bustamante Pulgarín, Sebastián; Peña Higuavita, Germán AdolfoWith the importance in the global context reducing polluting emissions and decarbonizing the economy using the impact and allocation of resources as an instrument. This research work is presented that, based on the literature consulted and the statistical analysis of the rates of bond issues of Colombian companies between 2009 and 2021, between sustainable and ordinary bonds, it could be concluded that there are trends in the reduction of debt acquisition costs, especially if it is dedicated to sustainability; there are also success stories where important actors of the Colombian economy, ensure to reduce their cost of debt.
