    The pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) have been and remain the major source of “stickies” or small adhesive contaminant particles in the paper recycling industry, and thus are constituted as one of the main technical barriers to it. Methods to overcome this problem are not decisive in the literature available to date; therefore all alternatives identified will be explored in search of one potentially applicable in our city. To achieve results in recycling of paper adhesives is essential, given the high price of virgin pulp, demand exceeding supply in paper recovering for recycling, and particularly high price of recycled fiber in Colombia.
