Ítem Evaluación de la oportunidad de expansión al mercado europeo de la empresa Freshcolombia International SAS a través del análisis de unit economics(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Sánchez Sarzosa, José Julián; Prieto Toro, Carolina; González Tabares, Carlos EduardoÍtem Plataforma digital para alquiler de equipos de construcción(Universidad Eafit, 2020) Arango Márquez, Daniel; Lalinde Arango, Verónica; Giraldo Hernández, Gina MaríaThe general objective of this document was to define the minimum viable product of a digital platform to meet the needs related to construction equipment rental in the city of Medellín and its metropolitan area. For the development of the research, secondary information was used within the databases of Eafit University and 17 websites were studied, most of them related to the rental of construction equipment. For the collection of primary information, four semi-structured interviews were conducted in the city of Medellín and the study subjects were selected for their relevance in the process of renting construction equipment. The most significant attributes found in the benchmark analysis were tabulated and graphed and cross-referenced with the responses and results of the interviews. From this, the value proposition canvas was built (Osterwalder et al., 2014) which later facilitated the development of the business model canvas created by the same author, in which the minimum viable product of the digital platform was captured. Subsequently, the financial analysis was carried out using a projected cash flow of five years, to which some of the best-known criteria used in project evaluation were applied. Among the most outstanding results is that in Colombia there is no platform that integrates the attributes analyzed. Additionally, that a frustration of potential users is that there is no centralization in the construction equipment rental sector and the importance of digitization is highlighted. Finally, it is concluded that the minimum viable product has economic feasibility and should aim to become a global provider of comprehensive services through a marketplace.
