    Natural resources are the first source of integral and sustainable development for the peoples of the world, but these have suffered a systematic deterioration by man -- That is why the UN in 1972 proclaimed the ecological principles in Stockholm and the concept of Sustainable Development was born -- Colombia has demonstrated compliance with each of the international treaties to which it is submitted, incorporating them into the country through the constitutional bloc -- This article makes a comparative analysis of the ecological principles that refer to the conservation of the environment and everything that is involved in the environmental public policy of the municipality of Quibdó and to determine whether these have been taken into account or not time to build the public policies of the Territorial Planning Plan (POT) of the territorial entity -- Finding that this complies mostly with the principles, having as an axis of development the environmental sustainability, aimed at the economic and social strengthening of the peoples
