    In this paper a presentation of the Theory of creation of organizational knowledge and an analysis of the concept of leadership in the work of Ikujiro Nonaka is made -- In order to understand the importance of the concept of leadership in the work of this author, it is necessary to refer to his first works, in which, although the concept of leadership is not explicitly considered, the bases of the concepts that will serve to build it are presented -- Ikujiro Nonaka's Theory of creation of organizational knowledge raises some questions about what the role of leadership should be within the theory, which leads to establish important relationships with each of the components of this and present new concepts, such as that of Phronesis and Wise Leader, that theoretically support their function and whose analysis and theoretical framework constitute the central theme of Ikujiro Nonaka's most recent work
