Publicación Cuatro pasajes orquestales para clarinete piccolomás solicitados en audiciones : recomendaciones de interpretación y herramientas de preparación de audiciones(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Jiménez Murillo, Felipe; Manco, Juan DavidThis article aims to provide technical, interpretative, and mental preparation tools for piccolo clarinet auditions, based on four of the most common solos in orchestra auditions for this instrument. To do this, information from recent auditions and books for this instrument was considered, as well as some interviews with teachers and professional performers of the instrument. The result of this article was a proposal for the interpretation of orchestral passages, a table of suggested fingerings or positions to help with intonation and ease of interpretation, as well as a proposal for mental preparation reading to improve results in auditions, concerts, and recitals. This work aims to contribute to a more serious study for clarinetists who plan to audition for piccolo clarinet positions in different orchestras and help with their mental preparation.Publicación Propuesta de Interpretación Orquestal para Estudiantes de Contrabajo en Niveles Básico Y Medio(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Guerra Zapata, Deivy Xavier; Manco,Juan DavidThis paper describes a pedagogical proposal for orchestral training in double bass by means of a guide of orchestral excerpts to be applied especially in collective teaching processes or " school orchestra " system. For this, the documentation about levels of difficulty in the most recognized collective schools in the country has been reviewed and then, a selection of standard orchestral excrepts has been made that can be applied to the basic and middle double bass levels. The result obtained is an ordering of orchestral excerpts according to the methodological recommendation used in the Red de Escuelas de Música de Medellin, this being the only colombian institution that has a proposal of degrees of difficulty for each instrument.
